Experience an effective and stress-free aerobic water workout!
Water Aerobics is an effective form of rehabilitation used by physiotherapists and physical therapists in the treatment of injuries and medical conditions. It is effective for anyone wanting to build lean muscle mass, increase strength, or heal from injury. It is also the ideal exercise for aging adults by helping them maintain their good health at a comfortable, functional level.
The exercises take place in a swimming pool, where the buoyancy provided by the water allows non-impact training to take place. One advantage of exercise in water is that muscles are relaxed by the therapeutic heat, which helps to improve joint range of motion. It has no weight transmitted through the body, which makes it an ideal form of exercise for fracture rehabilitation, knee injury rehabilitation, and back injury rehabilitation.
Aquatic exercise allows you to get a great cardio workout, while also increasing your strength, endurance, and flexibility. It’s also a gentler form of exercise for pregnantwomenand people who have: osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, balance issues, and joint injuries.

This is fantastic for doing laps and exercises. I know how to swim and do laps, but with the belt I am able to do 22 full laps and at 64 years old that isn't bad. Without the belt I can only do a few. The belt helps you float, leaving you to exercise your arms and legs, without spending all that energy of trying to stay above water. The cost is well worth trying and I'm sure you won't want to swim without it.
Absolutely love this belt, bought a 2nd one just to share. I like exercising in the water but I'm not a strong swimmer. This belt keeps you a float so you don't have to worry about treading water and can concentrate on the area you really want to work. I have bad knees and the belt allows me to move and bend them without over extending them. My grand daughter even taught herself to swim with this belt, it gave her the courage to try swimming without it.
I never learned to swim as a kid but recently took up swimming lessons. My problem was that it was difficult to improve my form and control breathing while actually swimming. I tried a similar flotation belt that my swim instructor loaned me(seemingly in desperation), and what a world of difference it made. I bought this one and have used it at my gym's pool. It's great because 1) it's easy to put on; 2) easy to adjust tightness; 3) comfortable; 4) provides just enough flotation to assist me but not be too much of a crutch. I've improved my form and can get a long workout at the gym when I want to. At this point, I CAN swim the length of the pool. But I still use it because I can swim 30-40 minutes with it on. Without it, my technique isn't good enough and I tire myself out quickly.
Hubby takes my grandson fishing. He wants a belt on him as floaties just don’t cut it. This is perfect
